Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

We are seeking a safety-conscious Tipper Operator to support daily operations at our Anson County Transfer Station. This role primarily involves operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to manage solid waste and recyclable materials. The ideal candidate ensures efficient and compliant waste handling in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.What You’ll Do:

Operate front-end loaders to load waste and recyclables into the outbound trailer

Navigate equipment safely within tight, high-traffic areas of the yard

Perform daily equipment inspections using Whip Around Systems

Conduct routine maintenance (greasing, fluid checks, minor repairs)

Manage waste piles to prevent overflow and contamination

Coordinate trailer swaps with scale house staff and truck drivers

Keep work areas clean and properly store equipment after shifts

Must be at least 18 years old

Authorized to work in the United States

1–2 years of experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu)

Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus

Strong attention to safety and detail

Must have effective audio and visual perception for job duties
