What You will Do:
Document current manufacturing operations
Document hidden factory capture
Perform time studies for production lines
Review, create, and update electronic manufacturing work instructions for related manufacturing processes
Update inspection-related instructions to adhere to current processes
What You Will Bring:
Degree in engineering, technical writing, or equivalent
1-3 years minimum of relevant experience
Manufacturing experience required
Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
Desired Skills:
Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience a plus
Previous experience with electro-mechanical products preferred
Previous experience with documenting manufacturing processes preferred
Proficient with GD&T concepts
Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders
Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred
Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Boyne City, MI
Mostly Shop Floor Environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement
Substantial amounts of computer work
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
