Job Description

Position Overview:

The primary function of a Cycle Counter is to facilitate the process of inventory control through a system of perpetual inventory.

Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Operate a radio frequency (RF) gun to scan merchandise

Reconciliation of physical, documented, and electronic inventory

Operate lift machine

Execute and process cycle counts in SAP

Investigate inventory variances and understand root cause

Perform inventory counts at third party locations

The candidate should be comfortable communicating with a supervisor in order to obtain the knowledge necessary to perform independent job functions

The position requires a person that is reliable and consistent in both schedule and performance

Utilize physical strength to verify the accuracy of the inventory count

Possess strong mathematical capabilities to confirm inventory quantities

Other duties as assigned

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:

Preferred SAP experience

Good verbal and listening skills

Willingness to learn

Experience with material management highly desired

Strong analytical abilities including affinity for quantitative analysis

Acute attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to move and lift heavy objects

Able to perform job duties safely.

Ability to repeat job functions with accuracy

Ability to pass lift assessment is required

Ability to work under pressure of deadlines

Complete the lift operator certification process

Full-time
