Here’s what you can expect:Work Schedule: Part-time weekdaysBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for a range of benefits, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and Short/Long Term Disability401(k) PlanPaid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Stock Purchase Plan Casual, PRN, and Part-Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.Your Role and Responsibilities As a Cytotechnologist, you will:Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens to identify potential malignant or abnormal conditions.Perform microscopic evaluations of cytological specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures.Document workload accurately, adhering to CLIA and laboratory guidelines.Maintain integrity in reporting results and meet slide screening requirements.Provide backup for cytology processing and other tasks as needed.Comply with all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies.What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university.Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program.ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification and Florida Cytotechnologist license are required.Prior experience in Cytology is preferred.ThinPrep and SurePath certifications are a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Must pass a standardized color vision screen.Ready to Make a Difference?
