Statesville PIRTEK is looking to hire a Mobile Service Technician to trouble shoot, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, just to name a few. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication and strong customer service skills. As a PIRTEK Hose Mobile Service Technician, you will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van and be carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service truck fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

Responsibilities:

Equipment disassembly and reassembly

Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base

Carry out service calls in the defined territory

Develop close relationships with new and existing customers

Basic up keep of provided equipment

Management of mobile inventory

Over time as required

Travel out of territory as required

Participate in rolling on call schedule

Qualifications:

Desire to learn

Open minded

Positive attitude

A sense of responsibility to the customer and the job

Mechanically inclined

High School Diploma or GED

Formal education / certification is beneficial (hydraulic, automotive, diesel, welding, etc.)

PC / Tablet competent

Good communication skills

Requirements:

Clean driving record

Must be able to pass basic mechanical aptitude test

Must pass drug screening
