Shipping Receiving & Order Filling Associate

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay: $18 - $20/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:30am-2:30pm)

Overview

As a Shipping, Receiving & Order Filling Associate, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. This role combines shipping/receiving responsibilities with production order filling, including operating liquid filling equipment, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following ISO/QMS quality procedures. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable with physical work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming trucks and deliveries; verify and stock receivables.

Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately and on time.

Operate liquid filling equipment and perform hand-filling tasks.

Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and packaging of all products.

Monitor inventory levels, assist with cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.

Follow ISO Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow all PPE and safety requirements.

Requirements

1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production experience (chemical environment preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent; math/algebra skills a plus.

Forklift license (or ability to complete company certification).

Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely and meet physical demands (bending, squatting, pushing, pulling).

Strong attention to detail with ability to follow written instructions and fill sheets.

Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/WMS experience preferred).

Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
