Production Operator

Job Description

Job Summary: UVitec Printing Ink, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of UV curable inks, coatings, and adhesives dedicated to innovation and quality. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented production operator to join our growing team and be an essential part of our manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role that includes on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:

Operating various production machinery and tools.

Mixing and blending raw materials to create our high-quality products.

Assisting with packaging and quality control checks.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.

Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding raw material and product inventory.

Organize and maintain the warehouse and storage areas to ensure efficiency and safety.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and carry items weighing 55 to 60 pounds.

Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred). UVitec offers forklift training.

Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy and excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, alternating shifts: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required.
