Vonachen Group is looking to hire an Office Administrator in Davenport, IA.
The Office Administrator is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service and adhering to company policies. This person is to provide timely and accurate assistance to support services for our office staff and field managers to enhance the quality of the overall service we provide to our clients and employees. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
General data entry duties and office administration such as answering phones, filing, copying, etc.
Provide excellent service to clients and employees.
Answer the phone and greet customers and clients professionally.
Maintain polite and professional communication.
Work with teams members on company programs and initiatives throughout the year (Santa Program, United Way, and any office related gatherings)
Order and maintain office supplies- including keeping paper trays filled and toner ordered through vendor.
Daily restock kitchen and maintain stock inventory
Distribute mail daily
Providing administrative support to operations team members including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, reporting, monthly credit card reconciliation/receipt imputing
Respond and/or forward requests through company request portal to appropriate team member.
Coordinate and facilitate laundry services by receiving, organizing, and tracking laundry brought from operations for customer accounts to ensure timely processing.
Support event logistics by assisting with the setup and teardown of company functions, including arranging tables, chairs, and other event materials.
Perform other administrative tasks as given.
Job requirements:
Skills and Abilities
Must be 18 years of older
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass MVR
Ability to work independently or in a team environment with a high level of performance
Sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information and handle multi-faceted jobs with completing normal duties
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and power point
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual is a plus
Education and Experience
High school diploma or Associate degree
2-4 years of experience as an Office Assistant or related field
Physical Requirements
Sit and or stand for long periods of time
Repetitive motions
Frequent bending and twisting
Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
Details:
Full Time 1st Shift
evenings and weekends as needed
$20/hr-$24/hr
