Medical Office Billing Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a fun outgoing, detail-oriented Medical Office Billing Manager to join our small medical office team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with filling claims and Medical Billing, working with denied claims and collecting on outstanding debt. Also looking for candidate with experience in insurance verification, prior authorization request, medical scheduling systems and possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a small private Family-like healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

- Billing and filing of medical claims, appeals, and follow through (must have experience!)

-Knowledgeable on billing insurance and pre-authorization

- Follow through on claim status, follow up on denials

- Schedule patient appointments using medical scheduling software

- Verify patient insurance information and prior authorization and deductibles

- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- Prior experience in medical billing and collections

Experience:

-Experience in Medical office environments

- Familiarity with phone systems and scheduling

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
