About the Role

Sitemetric is growing rapidly, and we’re on a mission to reshape the construction industry through innovation and design. As a Senior Visual Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects—both digital and physical—that directly influence how our brand is seen and experienced.

You’ll be responsible for creating impactful marketing assets and executing the Sitemetric Brand Identity across all channels and audiences. Collaborating closely with our marketing, creative, and senior leadership teams, you’ll produce compelling visuals that resonate with our target audience and bring our brand to life.

In this role, you’ll not only enhance and maintain brand consistency, but also explore diverse creative challenges, ensuring every touch point delivers a powerful and trustworthy visual experience.

Key Responsibilities

This position works directly with the Sitemetric Brand Director and other departments across the entire organization.

Core responsibilities include:

1) Customer-focused experience: Drive a consistent, customer-focused brand experience across all digital and physical touch points, with a focus on sharing the stories of customers working with Sitemetric to provide industry-defining products and experiences.

2) Brand team-building and motivation: Build a high-performance branding team eager and able to create and grow an industry-defining Sitemetric brand with attention to every detail. Set and meet a high-quality bar for all work, empowering teammates company-wide on key branding initiatives. Further develop and evangelize internal brand identity guidelines and principles to ensure internal and external stakeholders are supported in creating on-brand experiences.

3) Design-driven approach: Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and projects from ideation through concept development, refinement, and execution. Work with the design team to develop rapidly scalable brand design systems and brand asset-management strategies to promote efficiency and quickly onboard designers onto projects.

4) Leadership and collaboration: Lead and collaborate on all visual design activities with a cross-functional team—including field personnel—in a high-growth start-up environment requiring frequent context-shifting and strategic prioritization of design/creative time. Present design ideas concisely and effectively to internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership and marketing partners.

5) Talent management and development: Develop the skills, talents, and careers of the junior designers on your team by finding the right opportunity at the right time and coaching them to success and impact. Source and onboard external contractors and agencies and deliver high-impact deliverables with them.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

5+ years’ of experience with brand design, graphic design or other related fields of design, preferably working in an agency, technology company, or rapid-growth startup.

Record of successful completion of large-scale brand/graphic/product design projects and stellar portfolio demonstrating high-impact design work.

Proven experience in creating and maintaining consistent, iconic brand experiences across digital and physical touch points.

Experience as designer and design leader on projects across web and social media, swag, video/photo, presentations, and everything in between, along with development of scalable brand design systems and asset-management strategies.

Demonstrated expertise as a designer and design leader on projects spanning web and social media, print collateral, video/photo production, presentations, and the development of scalable brand design systems and asset-management strategies.

The ability to lead and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership within the design team.

Strong grasp of design principles and attention to detail for combining color, layout, typography, iconography, photography, copy, and more to create a consistent user experience.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external groups and colleagues, including sourcing and collaborating with contractors and agencies.

Bachelors in design, communications, or related degree.

PREFERRED

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Sketch, Webflow, Figma, and related tools.

Have an available online portfolio.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with commercial printing.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience working with 3D modeling & rendering, photography, animation and video production is a plus.

Familiarity with web design principles and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.

Experience with UI&UX design for mobile and web is a plus.

Experience in generating visuals with AI tools—and strong skills in prompt engineering—are a plus
