Heavy CIvil Project Manager
Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager - General Engineering Contractor
Location: Provo, UT
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
Founded in 1997 we are a 100+ employee general engineering contractor based out of Provo, UT that specializes in heavy civil infrastructure across the state. With deep expertise in waterworks, sewer, pump stations & excavation we serve municipal, industrial & DOT clients. We are expanding into drainage infrastructure, material plants, and road building-areas where this Heavy Civil PM will play a pivotal role.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead planning and execution of waterworks, sewer, and pump station projects across Utah's municipal and DOT sectors
Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and crews for drainage infrastructure and material plant builds
Oversee field operations and ensure compliance with engineering specs and safety standards
Coordinate with estimators and superintendents to deliver high-quality, on-time projects
Drive growth in road-building capabilities by guiding project delivery and identifying process improvements
What You Need for this Position
10+ years of experience in heavy civil or general engineering project management
Proven success managing water infrastructure, pump stations, and underground utility scopes
Strong understanding of DOT standards, drainage systems, and site development
Ability to lead field teams, manage budgets, and communicate with owners and agencies
Proficiency in project scheduling, cost tracking, and construction documentation
