Scope of Practice

75/25 split on clinic vs. endoscopy

11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic

Each physician has their own designated RN for support

5000+ cases per year in the endoscopy area - 500 inpatient/4500 outpatient

150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and volume continues to grow

8 day call 1 & 4

Consultation Services only for IP

No tech specifics are required

5 MDs & 3 NP in the clinic now, 1 NP day each day

Inpatient NP signed starting in February 2026

3+ weeks wait time

CMC - Endoscopy Area

4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area)

Scopes - Olympus 180 and 190 series (HD scopes)

Brand new C-Arm (2025 purchase) is available in the department

Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support

All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation
