Description

Finance Assistant

This is a tremendous opportunity to join our professional finance team! In this position you will contribute to the integrity, reliability and accuracy of the bank's financial reporting by ensuring the appropriate controls and reconciliations are in place.

Important day-to-day responsibilities include:

To provide financial transaction processing or reconciliations to support the management of the bank's balance sheet to maximize earnings growth, control and plan for capital, maintenance and personnel expenditures, minimize interest and capital risk and provide sufficient liquidity.

Ensure payroll and accounts payable processes are completed timely, accurately and under appropriate controls and that transactions are balanced and cleared.

Complete financial transactions or reconciliations of financial transactions as requested by the Finance Team.

Establish and complete financial controls and reconciliations to ensure the bank's FDICIA compliance once the bank reaches $1 billion in asset size.

Assist the Finance Department with financial reporting.
