Janitor

Job Title: Janitor (UAW Union) Company: Caravan Facilities Management Job Summary: Caravan Facilities Management is seeking a reliable Janitors to support our cleaning operations at our local facility.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and flexible with shift availability.

Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and hallways in an industrial environment * Refill restroom and cleaning supplies * Collect and dispose of trash * Mop, sweep, vacuum, and perform other general cleaning duties * Follow company and GM safety standards * Maintain equipment and cleaning tools properly * Communicate effectively with team leads and site manager * Clock in and out using designated systems and report any issues promptly Requirements: Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, climb and stand for extended periods * Must pass background check and adhere to site security rules * Union membership required upon hire (UAW) Perks: * Opportunity to move into a full-time position as openings become available * Union representation and benefits in accordance with UAW guidelines * Supportive and respectful team environment
