The Northwest region provides care in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The area provides countless outdoor recreational activities while offering a low cost of living.

Prospective applicants will be comfortable working at all 4 of our local emergency departments.

28K annual ED patient volume

New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023

44 rooms with 4 trauma bays

Level II Trauma Center

360 bed hospital

8,9,10 hour shifts

36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage

New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU

Penn Highlands Elk

14K annual ED patient volume

Critical Access Hospital

12 hour shifts

Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage

Penn Highlands Brookville

8K annual ED patient volume

Critical Access Hospital

12, 24 hour shifts

Single Physician coverage

Penn Highlands Clearfield

16K annual ED patient volume

Critical Access Hospital

12 hour shifts

Incentives / Benefits:

ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential & holiday pay

BE physicians $240/hr + $30/hr shift differential & holiday pay until certified
