Responsibilities

The Sr. Store Communication and Technology Specialist is a strategic partner and key liaison between Store/Field Communications and cross functional teams performing complex calendar planning, driving execution of field activities and related messaging. This position plays an essential role in defining and writing communications to store associates and adjusting corporate content to be relevant and compelling to store associate.This position will be responsible for partnering with merchants to create a strategy to support product knowledge for associates. In addition, the position drives technology-related initiatives and provides strategic input, builds requirements, conducts testing, and acts as a liaison between store operations and technology teams. The role also collaborates with cross functional partners on communication strategies, working closely with the Manager, Store Experience to optimize communication platforms and influence promotional pricing direction.

Key Responsibilities

Leads communication and field activity calendarization, planning, and execution for all Store Associate and Field Leader audiences

Works closely with Creative & Marketing teams to ensure their input and support on certain projects/messages

Proposes content ideas, messages, vehicle, and timing within the context of the overall corporate message priorities and calendar

Writes, edits and deploys content with the appropriate brand voice and vocabulary

Helps evolve and shape communications through inquiries and surveys among associates, data, and analytics

Keeps Store/Field and Corporate Communications managers current on project status, deliverables and workload as well as flagging any time management or resource concerns that may arise

Responds to Field Communications Inbox inquiries in a thoughtful and timely fashion

Creates all product knowledge tools,including trend posters and learning through electronic learning platforms

Acts as the primary point of contact between Technology and Store Experience, coordinating updates and proposing solutions to leadership

Leads user acceptance testing (UAT) for in-store technology upgrades, including POS systems and hardware and participates in defect resolution processes

Proactively identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the customer and associate experience

Collaborates with Technology Business Analysts to define requirements and deliver successful store technology updates

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Technology, Finance or related fields, or equivalent experience.

5 – 7 years of experience in retail, technology, or operational process management, with a focus on driving business growth and fiscal responsibility

Excellent project management and written/verbal communication skills

Experience with communication analytics tools and reports

Knowledge of Google Suite, Reflexis, InDesign and SaaS-based platforms

Preferred Qualifications (skills and abilities)

Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.

Highly detail-oriented with exceptional project management, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities.

Ability to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement in technology and omni-channel processes.

Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights for the business.
