Commissions Coordinator / Commissions AnalystThe Commissions Coordinator plays a critical role in bridging financial analysis with sales performance. This position is responsible for interpreting profit and loss statements from commercial landscaping clients to calculate accurate commission payments for the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a keen eye for profitability trends, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable compensation decisions. This position is a 1-3 month contract assignment that will pay between $24 and $34/hr. Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze client-specific profit and loss statements to assess gross margin and net profitability.
Determine commission eligibility and payout amounts based on predefined profitability thresholds and sales agreements.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to validate revenue recognition and cost allocations.
Maintain detailed records of commission calculations, adjustments, and approvals for audit and reporting purposes.
Identify patterns in client profitability and provide insights to leadership on commission structure optimization.
Reconcile commission payments with payroll and ensure timely and accurate disbursement.
Assist in developing and refining commission models that align with business goals and financial performance.
Support quarterly and annual financial reviews related to sales compensation.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or commission processing.
Proficiency in interpreting P&L statements and understanding cost structures.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive compensation data.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $34.00 per hour
