Job Description
The General Production Associate supports various stages of the automotive manufacturing process, including assembly, material handling, and quality inspection. This role is essential to maintaining production flow, meeting daily output goals, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are upheld.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on production tasks such as assembling automotive components, operating machinery, and packaging finished goods.
Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including staging materials and preparing orders for delivery.
Handle raw materials and finished products using carts or other material handling equipment.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels at workstations.
Conduct visual inspections of parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a lean manufacturing environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and stand for extended periods.
Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., reading a ruler).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
Experience with hand and power tools.
1-2 years of experience in production/manufacturing.
Experience in assembly, polishing, grinding, and machine operation.

Work Environment
The position is within a fast-paced automotive production facility with exposure to noise and heat. Employees may rotate between departments based on production needs. The facility is non-climate controlled, but temperatures remain stable. Available shifts are 1st Shift from 8:00am-4:30pm and 3rd Shift from 11:30pm-8:00am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
