Chemical Plant Technician

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays) Pay Range: Starting from $17.00 - $21.50 an hour Job Duties & Responsibilities: Rail Switching Technician: * Examines track list to spot, separate, load and/or build railcars for shipment * Ensures railcars are properly connected and/or are secured by setting the brake * Separates loaded railcars that will be shipped from those that have been preloaded * Weighs all inbound and outbound loads and empties to ensure weights do not exceed * Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Warehouse Technician: * Helps operate and maintains a piece of industrial equipment such as vacuum trucks, mobile packaging units, trailer transfer units, and roll-off trucks safely and efficiently * Ensures equipment is in compliance with safe work practices, policies and procedures * Works to package, unload and transfer materials in containers, if needed * Works with sumps, drains, trenches, reactors and silos, in potential confined spaces, if needed * Fills out paperwork and communicates effectively with customer representative * Safely and efficiently operates forklift and other warehouse machinery * Safely loads product onto different containers or trailers while ensuring product securement * Performs a quality control verification by inspecting containers for damage * Maintains a clean and safe working environment at all times * Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Equipment Operator: * Maintain a consistent and constant supply of raw materials into wash line * Safely operates a forklift and skid steer / front-end loader to move product * Properly weighs finished product in boxes and places in warehouse * Completes daily production reports that are required to be filled out throughout the day * Oversees all wash line equipment, pumps and motors are operating properly throughout shift * Performs basic housekeeping duties throughout shift to maintain a clean and safe work environment * Completes any other duties assigned Loading Technician: * Ensures that the vessel is secured and inspected at the loading rack.

* Transferring and handling product according to procedures.

* Checks product / vessel weight to ensure limitations do not exceed.

* Completes required paperwork prior to releasing the vessel.

* Communicates with site leadership, team members and customer contacts.

* Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Job Qualifications: * Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available * May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location * 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check * Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
