We are currently undergoing an exciting large-scale renovation and are committed to enhancing our environment while focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the scope of LPN practice.

You will utilize your nursing knowledge and skills to set priorities for delivering quality direct resident care, promoting safety, and ensuring high standards of care.

Administer standard nursing treatments and medications while observing residents for both desired and unwanted effects.

Collaborate effectively with care team members to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan based on any relevant findings, including lab results and concerns.

Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and residents' reactions to care.

Prepare, oversee, and evaluate the delivery of care while managing CNA assignments based on residents' needs and staff competency.

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.

Possess a current and valid New York license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Dedication to providing extraordinary, compassionate, and clinically sound care.

A cooperative, caring spirit with enthusiasm to foster a conducive atmosphere for rehabilitation and resident health.

A genuine interest in helping residents who may be ill, injured, disabled, elderly, or present unique challenges.

Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Able to perform well under pressure and work harmoniously with all staff members.
