Location: Houston
Salary Range: $117,000–$194,000 (based on experience)

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Documentation
Perform engineering calculations and create electrical AutoCAD and Revit drawings independently.
Write, edit, and produce project specifications with no supervision.
Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents for electrical-related items.Field Work and Compliance
Conduct fieldwork and generate field reports to verify design accuracy.
Maintain expert knowledge of building codes, company design standards, and client-specific requirements.Systems Expertise
Design and manage systems for:
Lighting and lighting controls
Fire alarm systems
Power distribution systems, including emergency power
Technology systemsTeam Leadership
Supervise and mentor interns, designers, and EITs in electrical systems development.
Seal final contract documents as required.Client and Business Development
Participate in client meetings and events like golf tournaments, receptions, and galas.
Translate technical expertise and soft skills into business development goals.
Maintain excellent knowledge of our mission, vision, and client goals.Continuous Learning and Adaptability
Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies in electrical engineering.
Adapt to evolving project requirements and industry advancements.
Qualifications
PE license required.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant engineering software.
Expertise in electrical engineering principles, building codes, and project management.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience with education market projects is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of business basics (accounting, marketing, human resources).
