Job Summary:Mark Tanner Construction, Inc. has an immediate need for an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers in the day to day coordination, management, and completion of High-End Residential homes.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Below is a list of duties, tasks, and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the daily activities for this position.
Coordinate sub visits, inspections, and schedules with PM staff
Verify all bids are complete and accurate prior to entering proposal
Assist in entering information into the bid master template for new jobs.
Create and maintain job binder/folders for each job.
Type all Change orders as directed, maintaining accuracy on margins and rates billed
Enter initial subcontract into applicable software on all jobs
Control all paperwork- filing, scanning, etc.
Verify price billed for lumber packages vs. estimates
Order plan sets and maintain a record of orders
Take and upload all pictures to job files/sites
Maintain electronic copies of all contracts, sub bids and other job-related items.
Coordinate with local agency for permits and documents
Meet with Project Managers, Clients, Vendors at job sites
Other tasks as assigned
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred, or relevant experience
Excel in job scheduling, communication with client and vendors
Sage Contractor, CoConstruct
High level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft project
Read and understand drawings, scope of work and specs
Education / Experience:
Residential Construction: 2 years
Residential Estimating: 2 years
Project Management: 1 year (Required)
