Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a state-wide provider of skilled trade services. We are seeking a Service Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial electrical estimating, construction, or parts, along with clerical experience within the construction industry. A strong understanding of commercial electrical installations, materials, and code requirements is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience related to electrical services. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit electrical proposals within the scope of commercial tenant improvement projects under the direction of management

Review service technician reports, project photos and/or schematics to calculate material and labor estimates

Reference pricing quotes from internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors

Enter and manage a high volume of data entry to update and maintain estimating software and databases

Ensure pricing, material measurements, and calculations are accurate and complete

Perform additional clerical duties as needed to support the departmentRequirements:

Minimum of one-year recent experience in supporting a commercial or electrical estimating department in the scope of administrative assistant capacity

Proficient in using of web-based software and Microsoft Office

Strong alpha-numeric data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM

Ability to perform basic arithmetic at a high school level
