Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer Co-op to join our Florence, Ky team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process optimization, data analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing or production environment. You will support ongoing operations while contributing to critical process development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating, improving, and troubleshooting production processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
Collect and analyze production data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement process changes and new equipment.
Support the design and execution of experiments (DOE) and validation activities.
Help develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, process flow diagrams, and work instructions.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for production issues.
Contribute to lean manufacturing projects and evaluate effectiveness.Requirements:
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Completed at least 2 years of engineering coursework.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD tools or process simulation software is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

This is an on-site role. Applicants must live within a 50-mile commuting distance of our facility in Florence, Kentucky . Relocation assistance is not available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, SMED, VSM mapping, or process control principles.
Prior internship, co-op, or lab experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
