About the Role:
Join Gateway Residential Services as a Direct Support Professional Program Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. This exciting position allows you to lead a dedicated team in providing compassionate support and ensuring quality care in a thriving environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Direct Support Professional program.
Develop individualized support plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
Supervise and mentor Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of client progress and program effectiveness.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff development and compliance.
Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to enhance client support.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
Promote a positive and inclusive environment for both clients and staff.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support or program coordination.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for advocacy and client empowerment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and families.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in disability services.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
