Join our dynamic team of Electronics Design Engineers specializing in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) development and design. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be influential in all stages of electronics design, from initial conception to product end-of-life, collaborating with industry-leading experts to create high-performance networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with software, mechanical, ASIC, manufacturing, marketing, and project management teams to define platform and board-level architecture that meets program requirements, schedules, and budgetary targets.

Analyze design options to implement robust system architecture.

Evaluate and select components that align with design objectives.

Design and develop board and system-level schematics and layout guidelines.

Lead, mentor, and support board layout activities.

Create comprehensive engineering documentation (schematics, design/layout rules, FPGA code, source code, etc.) to facilitate design implementation.

Assist software engineering in the development and integration of firmware.

Guide and support test engineers in validating system designs.

Assist with compliance and regulatory testing.

Partner with the manufacturing team through all product manufacturing phases, from prototypes to full-scale production, including procurement, component management, and quality control.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with Cadence* Concept* schematic and Allegro* Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.

Understanding of board power distribution techniques.

Experience with FPGAs and programmable logic devices (PLD).

Software programming skills in languages such as C, Visual Basic, Perl, TCL, RTL, etc.

Familiarity with signal integrity simulation tools.

Knowledge of power integrity tools.

Experience with timing analysis and functional simulation.

History of completing multiple board and system development projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in platform/test card specification, design, debugging, and lab bring-up.

Proven expertise in digital board design, basic signal integrity, and experience with board layout and schematic capture tools (ORCAD, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).

Demonstrated ability in system-level debugging and identifying root cause of technical challenges.

Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including DMM, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
