Join an Innovative MEP Engineering Firm! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking to make an impact in a dynamic and technology-driven environment.

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced mechanical systems, particularly HVAC. Your expertise will guide budget management, project timelines, and resource allocation. Your responsibilities will encompass HVAC system selection, detailed designs, equipment specifications, and effective communication regarding Requests for Information (RFIs).

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Craft mechanical designs with an emphasis on budget, deadlines, and resource management.

HVAC System Expertise: Design and specify HVAC systems, conduct load calculations, and ensure compliance with regulations, including Title 24.

Equipment Selection: Identify and specify mechanical equipment suitable for diverse applications.

Documentation and Review: Develop and maintain project specifications and documentation, review submittals and shop drawings, and respond promptly to RFIs.

Testing and Analysis: Conduct experiments to assess component performance and identify improvement possibilities.

Collaboration: Partner with other engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to fulfill project requirements efficiently.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure that designs meet client specifications and regulatory standards.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges during the design phase.

Communication: Provide updates on project status to senior engineers and management teams.

Staying Current: Stay abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Professional Engineer (PE) Certification is required.

7-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in Data Centers is a significant advantage.

Strong ability to read and interpret designs and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
