Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Division is seeking an Integration and Test Senior Manager for the Strike Systems programs. In this role you will report to the Enterprise Integration and Test Senior Manager and support the Strike Systems chief engineers. You will be part of the Integration, Test, and Evaluation directorate. Our team is planning and executing all program scope within integration and test including verification planning and execution, sub-component, component, subsystem, system level integration and test and product qualification.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for driving the common approach and implementing best practices for integration and test, in alignment with Engineering Excellence. Leveraging your experiences to ensure test rigor and optimal test approaches contribute to missions success of integration and test activities. You’ll support the transformation initiatives of the IT&E departments in the performance for integration and test activities that include Model Based implementation, digital engineering, and critical thinking approaches to verification that utilize emerging capabilities. Additionally, you’ll manage subordinate leaders and support Strike Systems chief engineering with integration and test technical approach, planning, and execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing Strike Systems with technical approach and execution for product integration and verification for products in all life-cycles of a program

• Collaborating with IT&E functional leadership to drive common processes and tools, best practices, and lessons learned to the program

• Maintaining technical expertise and develops/manages talent of all personnel within the integration and test team of Strike Systems programs

• Providing review and approval of technical approach, staffing requirements, and cost estimates for new tasks.

• Responsible for assessing and balancing the talent needs and team composition across the Strike Systems programs.

• Providing test risk assessments and identification of opportunities and mitigating those risks in concert with program chief engineering.

• Accountable for favorable I&T metrics as they pertain to program test activities including conducting test reviews, action item tracking and timely closure, and schedule/cost avoidance mitigations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years is required to start.

10% travel is required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience

• This role requires special access eligibility and to be considered you must currently hold an active Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

• 10+ years experience in engineering of product integration and verification testing

• Demonstrated technical leadership associated with missile development, master test planning, and integration and test scope planning inclusive of cost, schedule, and technical performance.

• Prior experience in organizational design, talent development, and talent balancing in an engineering personnel management role

Desired skills

• Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to organize, motivate, develop, and lead large groups of technical personnel, a focus on Mission Success and Continuous Improvement, actively support change initiatives, and possess strong interpersonal and team building skills.

• Experience in risk and opportunity management and identifying mitigations to reduce risk to test events.

Experience leading and chairing Test Readiness and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews.

• All Full Spectrum leadership attributes of shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.

• Experience developing and testing Air launched weapons

• Knowledge of the Strike Systems family of weapons and associated delivery platforms.

• Experience presenting to LM executive staff, Chief Engineers, and equivalent government counterparts.

• Experience supporting Failure Review Boards and Corrective Action Incorporation

• Experience as a Leader of Leaders.

• Significant presentation experience.

• Experience interacting with Talent Acquisition and leading interviews.

Experience with the full hiring process (tools, recruiter interaction, hiring process) and with the separation process (normal resignation/separations and with HR assisted processes).

• Experience leading performance management discussions and performance assessments.

• Test architecture experience

• Demonstrated a solid understanding and application of digital transformation and model-based engineering principles

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
