This is an exciting role with great visibility and opportunity within our accounting team. The role will serve as the lead Accountant for the team and will report directly to our Director of Accounting & Control.
This role will be responsible for the oversight of our monthly closing in both the completion and communication of progress. In addition, they will be the owner of the Oracle GL module to ensure all GL account data is properly maintained. In addition, the role Provide accounting guidance upon request.
This role will be performed in a Hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Endicott, NY, and remotely from an alternate work location. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must reside within a commutable distance of our Endicott, NY site.
The role will be responsible for but not limited to the following items:
Oversee the closing process and trial balance issuance
Maintenance and oversight of Oracle General Ledger module
Post subledger to General Ledger and address any variances
Financial statement fluctuation analysis
Intangible Asset management
Support internal & external audit activity
Complete monthly General Ledger Account reconciliations
Offer accounting guidance in line with company policy and international financial reporting standards
Respond to ad hoc General Accounting requests

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
6+ years of applicable Accounting experience in a corporate finance environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Individual must be team oriented and able to work independently with limited supervision.
Must exhibit strong Time Management skills – ability to hold to firm schedule.
Prior experience in a general accounting role with Oracle proficiencies.
Proficiency in Excel and model-based applications.
