Are you a people-person with a knack for turning "not interested" into "where do I sign up?" Do you dream of blending the thrill of sales with the confidence of cold, hard science? If so, we've got just the thing for you!

Nova Biologicals, a Tentamus company in sunny Houston, Texas, is looking for a Sales Representative to help us spread the good word about lab testing-the unsung hero behind safe water, clean products, and peace of mind.

SO, What ARE We Selling?

Across our global network of third-party analytical testing labs, we help make sure stuff is safe-if people eat it, drink it, smear it on, or swallow it, odds are someone somewhere wants to be 100% sure it's not secretly awful. That's us.

At Nova Biologicals, we specialize particularly in microbiological and environmental testing. Think water, air, surfaces-the everyday things that can carry not-so-everyday risks. From E. coli to Legionella, we detect the nasty stuff so our clients don't have to worry about it. Whether it's healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, or city municipalities-we help them all breathe a little easier (literally).

The Day-to-Day Adventure-- Yes, There Will Be Emails.

As our Houston-based Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Nova, connecting industry pros with the science that keeps their products and services safe. You'll work closely with our VP of Sales and Marketing to:

Scout out new clients through cold calls, referrals, and your dazzling charm

Travel to client sites, conferences, and tradeshows to talk shop and show off our testing prowess

Build genuine, long-term relationships-not just LinkedIn connections

Understand client needs and tailor solutions (not just throw a service menu at them)

Keep a pulse on sales activity through CRM magic and solid follow-ups

Translate "lab speak" into plain English that inspires confidence, not confusion

Collaborate with marketing to make sales tools that are actually useful (and maybe even pretty)

Help clients stick with us because they trust you-and our science

The Nitty Gritty

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Houston, with up to 50% travel annually. Get ready for hotels, client lunches, convention centers, and the occasional last-minute gas station coffee. Adventure awaits.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to be a lab wizard (though if you are, we're already impressed). What you do need is:

You've got 1–3 years of sales experience and the kind of energy that makes people want to take your call. Extra credit if you've sold in scientific spaces-think pharma, food, health, supplements, or cosmetics.

You're a go-getter who's not just charming-you know how to close. You've got goals, and you like hitting them (or let's be honest-crushing them).

You can work independently without going rogue, and you play well with others. Whether it's a client pitch, a Teams call, or knocking out a task list solo, you're in your zone.

You're not scared of software. You can navigate Microsoft Office and CRM tools-or you're ready to learn fast and fake it 'til you make it (with support, of course).

You've got a valid driver's license and don't mind logging some miles for meetings, site visits, or the occasional industry event.

You're the curious type who asks great questions and listens just as well. You're open to feedback and always learning.

And if you already know what lab testing is? Well, now you're just showing off.

What You Receive

Salary between $75,000 - $90,000 + Commission, comprehensive and low-cost benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) Ample PTO, a matching 401k; a supportive, science-loving team that works hard and laughs harder, and bragging rights that your job helps keep the public safe.
