Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Actively manage and translate part requests generated from work orders into purchase orders to suppliers

Provide accurate and timely feedback on established purchase orders including lead times and supplier promise dates.

Collaborate with project managers regarding available part conditions, lead times, and pricing options for optimal customer service.

Maintain and expand usage of Min/Max inventory settings for optimized stock on hand.

Support vendor managed inventory accounts for consumables and hardware inventory.

Facilitate procurement for miscellaneous non-inventory items and shop supplies as requested.

Provide quotations as requested for customer RFQ efforts, tooling and support equipment.

Other business procurement needs as requested.

HS Diploma/GED required, Some higher-level education preferred, 2-4 years of administrative experience required.Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment, however, occasionally exposed to engine noise and general shop conditions.
