Job Description

Salary: $28-$30 Hourly

We are seeking a Job Coach to support individuals, often those with disabilities or facing employment challenges, to gain and maintain employment, focusing on job skills, workplace readiness, and successful integration into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting individuals with developing essential skills for the workplace, including resume building, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.

Providing hands-on instruction and guidance at the job site, ensuring individuals are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Facilitating the integration of individuals into the workplace, promoting positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors.

Working with individuals to identify their career goals and developing individualized plans to achieve them, while also monitoring their progress and providing ongoing support.

Advocating for the needs of individuals with disabilities or those facing employment challenges, and assisting them in accessing necessary resources and support services.

Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, progress, and employment outcomes.

Working collaboratively with healthcare providers, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful employment outcomes.

May be responsible for transporting service recipients to and from employment sites as assigned.

Travel to clients

Qualifications

Some College (Degree preferred)

4+ years of experience as a Job Coach or related field

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Ability to stay organized when dealing with multiple employees simultaneously

Prior experience working with people with disabilities

Upbeat, motivational attitude
