Natalis Psychology has a unique opening for a Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist to provide direct outpatient mental health services for children and adolescents officed within a thriving pediatric medical clinic in Woodbury, MN. This is a Full-Time position that will office and provide services to kids and teens referred directly from medical doctors and pediatricians in one of our partner medical clinics. This is an exciting opportunity for mental health providers to collaborate directly with medical professionals and to contribute to complete, integrated health care with a goal to improve the child’s overall well-being and improve access to behavioral health services for kids and families.

The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist provides individual and family therapy for a wide range of childhood and teen concerns including: anxiety, school difficulties, depression, dealing with loss or family changes, traumatic events, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. The nature of the Integrated behavioral health model is one that supports a brief, solution-focused or CBT approach to treatment and usually sees the client for 5-10 sessions.

Licensed Psychologists interested in psychological testing will also have the opportunity to conduct psychological testing for Autism Spectrum and ADHD. Those interested in supervision of trainees or pre-licensed staff are also encouraged to apply.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat diverse clients according to best practice standards

Conduct diagnostic assessments (DA)

Collaborate with the medical team or Pediatrician on treatment planning

Provide brief (5-10 sessions) therapy utilizing strategies such as CBT, solution-focused, collaborative problem-solving, psychoeducation or other evidenced based approaches.

Timely documentation according to clinical standards

Adherence to Minnesota and HIPPA data privacy requirements

Attend 4 clinical consultation groups per month

Conduct 28 direct service hours per week for a full-time position

Collaborate on community presentations on various topics

Opportunities for supervision of pre-licensed staff or trainees

Opportunities for group facilitation

Provide on-site behavioral support or expertise to pediatricians and clinic staff

Provide training for medical team on specific behavioral health topics

Education and Experience

You must demonstrate that you have completed a graduate program resulting in a Masters or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, child development, counseling or related field. This program must include practicum experiences or internships in a clinical setting.

You must provide evidence of licensure as an LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LGSW, or eligibility for licensure. Those needing supervision toward licensure for one of the above are also encouraged to apply, supervision is provided, pre-licensed supervision available at no cost

Experience working with children/teens and families is preferred

Full-time positions are salaried positions with a full complement of benefits including a competitive salary range based on licensure and experience:

Pre-licensed clinician requiring weekly supervision starting at $65,000

Licensed clinician starting at $70,000 - $80,000 annual based on experience.

Licensed psychologist + psychological testing starting at $95,000+ annual based on experience
