The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Lead Family Contact supports transition-age youth, and their Families/Caregivers in our Journey Housing Program who experience serious mental health challenges.

What you'll be doing:

Provide oversight and leadership of strategic focus as related to Family Engagement and involvement in the Journey Housing Program.

Work closely with Family Member/Caregivers to give "voice" to policy and practices at all levels.

Work with resources that support Family Member/Caregivers of transition-age youth.

Facilitate system-wide, comprehensive education, training and development activities.

Manage Activity Budget to incorporate programs and activities that foster Family/Caregiver involvement.

Provide assistance and support to Family Member/Caregivers as part of their "treatment planning" process.

Work with treatment teams, as needed, to assist navigation of system resources.

Act as a liaison between the program and the community for Family Support.

Provide oversight and consultation to Journey Housing program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Master's degree preferred.

Combination of work experience in social services field, experience working with families, and/or lived experience as Family Member/Caregiver.

Experience developing and utilizing productive partnerships with community agencies, groups, and schools.

Experience working with family run organizations or knowledge around this model is highly desired.

Demonstrates understanding of effective parental and client engagement approaches and practices.

Basic knowledge of cultural differences and issues impacting the culture of youth.

Strong engagement skills.

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current auto insurance with no more than 5 points on your MVR.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
