Rome Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy department.
The Registered Nurse assesses, directs, and coordinates patient care and procedures in an efficient, empathetic, timely, and appropriate manner, according to the age of patients served.
Responsibilities:
Perform assessments of patients' conditions, needs, and vital signs in preparation for endoscopy procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures, assist during procedures, and ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Work closely with physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop and execute patient plans of care.
Provide health education and support to patients and their families, addressing their questions and concerns about procedures, aftercare, and recovery.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and follow-up care in compliance
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Basic Life
Support; BS in Nursing preferred.
LICENSES: Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital is desirable. Previous experience in an Endoscopy or procedural setting is preferred.
