Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and replace automation systems at key points in the production process
Troubleshoot non-functioning components including sensors, and control components
Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
Periodically report to Operations Manager regarding automation capabilities and status
Working with vendors specific to the automation line when repairs or malfunctions occur
Receives and completes daily production needs from floor supervisor
Holds team working with automation equipment accountable for all OSHA, state, and local safety and environmental standards
Qualifications & Skills (Required):
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite/Office365
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Understanding of OSHA regulations (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred)
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors or Associates in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field
Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools with emphasis on robotics repairs
1-3 years experience in a robotics or mechanical technician role
