Position Overview
The Patient Care Training Manager at Gifthealth plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the development and execution of training programs for our Patient Care team. This individual will lead training strategy, manage training operations, and ensure that all patient care staff are equipped to deliver exceptional service while meeting company standards and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on training expertise and experience managing and developing others.
How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
Lead the strategy, development, and delivery of training programs that support onboarding, upskilling, and compliance for patient care staff.
Manage and mentor a team of trainers or training support staff as the department grows.
Design and continuously improve training materials, SOPs, and e-learning tools aligned with healthcare and industry best practices.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess training needs and implement scalable solutions.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using data, assessments, and participant feedback to drive ongoing improvements.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies through effective and thorough training content.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and patient-centered care throughout the team.
Maintain detailed records of training activities, certifications, and staff progress.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and training program management experience, preferably in a healthcare or patient care environment.
Strong understanding of patient care workflows and the healthcare landscape.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training strategies and performance improvement plans.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 2 years in a training leadership or management role.
