In this role, you won’t just be behind the wheel—you’ll be part of the mission. With a strong focus on safety, performance, and precision, you’ll play a key role in data collection, on-the-road testing, and delivering real-world insights to the engineering team.
What You’ll Do:
Operate autonomous test vehicles safely and responsibly for 4–8 hours daily.
Execute software commands to initiate and monitor tests and missions.
Conduct basic vehicle inspections to ensure readiness, cleanliness, and safety.
Coordinate logistical tasks such as moving, parking, or maintaining vehicles.
Requirements
Who You Are:
A safety-conscious, detail-oriented operator with 1+ years of autonomous vehicle operation experience and 3+ years of overall driving history.
Experienced in ADAS or autonomous vehicle testing.
Comfortable using the Linux Command Line and able to troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues.
A clear and effective communicator—both written and verbal—with strong critical thinking skills.
Able to sit and drive for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements:
No moving violations in the past 12 months
No DUIs or criminal history
Some Linux Command Line experience
Strong problem-solving ability and situational awareness
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
Familiarity with operating larger vehicles (e.g., Suburban, Tahoe, large SUVs)
