What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you'll design and execute comprehensive test plans for embedded systems, data processing software, and secure applications. You’ll drive the creation and automation of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test frameworks, help identify critical bugs early, and collaborate across the product lifecycle to ensure mission success.
Your Impact Will Include:
Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks
Develop and execute test cases using BDD tools like Cucumber and Gherkin
Collaborate with developers and system engineers in Agile teams to test end-to-end functionality
Write step definitions in Python and integrate tests into the codebase
Lead regression testing and ensure high-quality software delivery
Analyze test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
Contribute to improving testing methodologies and standardsRequirements:
What You Bring
U.S. Citizenship (Required)
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph (Required)
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s OR 7+ years with a master’s degree
Available to work onsite in Goodyear, AZ or Herndon, VA
Preferred Skills or Experience
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of software testing principles, including regression testing
Proficiency in BDD concepts and tools (Cucumber, Gherkin)
Python programming for test automation; additional languages (Java, C#) are a plus
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Hands-on experience with embedded system testing
Bonus Skills:
MBSE tools (MagicDraw, Cameo, Enterprise Architect)
Experience with Glue Code and automated regression frameworks
Technical writing and defect tracking expertise
