**Job Description:**
Purpose and Context:
The Release Coordinators will play a crucial role in facilitating the
deployment processes and improving communication around system changes
during the integration work with Capital One. Given the complexity of
the integration and its impact on various stakeholders, these
coordinators will ensure that changes to systems, infrastructure, and
services are properly communicated and deployed in an organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Deployment Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the
deployment of infrastructure-related changes, ensuring smooth
processes with minimal risk to production environments.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between different
technical teams (development, infrastructure, security, operations)
to ensure alignment on release schedules, scope, and potential
risks.
- Change Management Support: Assist with managing changes, ensuring
all changes to infrastructure are fully documented, assessed for
impact, and aligned with the broader goals of the Capital One
integration.
Clarifications:
- These roles focus on infrastructure and system-level changes, not
traditional application release management.
- Decision to hire these roles was based on feedback from previous
integration phases, where communication and coordination challenges
were identified during infrastructure change events.
