Athletic Trainer (ATC)

Job Description

Rock Valley Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to provide Secondary School athletic training services at Linn-Mar High School in Marion, IA. Qualifications include a minimum Bachelor's Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training, NATA/BOC Certified, Eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa and/or Illinois, CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

Provide Athletic Training services to assigned high school under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.

Demonstrate knowledge and skills in regards to efficient and effective prevention, acute care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injury.

Assist athletes and families with entry into the healthcare system for medical treatment and rehabilitation services beyond the scope or skill of the athletic trainer.

Engage in opportunities within the organization of Rock Valley such as relationship building, clinic assistantship, program development, and interprofessional collaboration.

Adhere to ethical standards of care and health information privacy
