Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Executive to drive revenue growth through three key channels: corporate sales, wedding services, and the hunting/sportsmen market. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base, build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and position Cedar Cove Ranch as the destination of choice for corporate retreats, dream weddings, and hunting enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities
1st: Corporate Sales
Develop and implement strategies to identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients for retreats, team-building events, team/client appreciation, executive retreats, and more
Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to corporate needs, highlighting our unique blend of luxury accommodations and outdoor activities
Establish and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers, including C-suite executives, HR directors, and event planners
Coordinate with our events team to ensure seamless execution of corporate packages
Track market trends to develop innovative corporate offerings that meet evolving business needs2nd: Hunting & Sportsmen Market
Expand our presence in the hunting and outdoor sports community through strategic partnerships, event attendance, and targeted outreach
Develop marketing campaigns specifically for hunting enthusiasts, highlighting our guided hunts, available game, and conservation efforts
Build relationships with hunting clubs, sporting associations, and industry influencers
Stay informed about hunting regulations, seasons, and industry developments
Create custom hunting packages that appeal to both novice and experienced sportsmen3rd: Weddings (nice to have)
Market Cedar Cove Ranch as a premier destination wedding venue through strategic partnerships and targeted campaigns
Create compelling wedding packages for high-end destination all-inclusive weddings
Conduct site tours for prospective destination wedding couples
Represent Cedar Cove Ranch at select bridal shows and monitor wedding market trends to optimize offerings
General Business Development
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets across all market segments
Analyze sales & marketing data to identify opportunities for growth and optimize pricing strategies
Represent Cedar Cove Ranch at industry trade shows, outdoor expos, and corporate networking events
Collaborate with sales & marketing to develop effective promotional materials and digital content
Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitive landscape
Contribute to the overall business strategy and long-term growth plans
QualificationsRequired
5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality, corporate, or sportsmen
Demonstrated success in B2B sales and relationship management
Understanding of the hunting and outdoor sports market
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation abilities and closing skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for shows & locally for networkingPreferred
Personal experience with hunting, fishing, or outdoor sports
Background in luxury hospitality, resort sales
Existing network within corporate or hunting communities
Knowledge of conservation practices and wildlife management
Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related fieldWhat We Offer

Work Environment
This position will be based at Cedar Cove Ranch headquarters in McKinney, with visits to the ranch as needed for business development & sales. The role requires you to maintain familiarity with our facilities and offerings.
