POSITION SUMMARY:

This leadership role supports the execution of complex electrical construction projects for hyperscale data centers. You’ll be responsible for managing project performance across operations, financials, client relationships, and team oversight. The role also includes mentoring project managers and field staff while ensuring projects align with organizational goals in safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee operational execution of data center electrical projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and company standards.

Provide strategic guidance to project teams on planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, and workforce management.

Act as a key liaison between clients, engineers, and subcontractors to promote collaboration and ensure project milestones are met.

Guide project leaders in resolving field challenges, scope changes, and schedule conflicts.

Review and approve project schedules, budgets, submittals, procurement timelines, and quality benchmarks.

Manage relationships with major vendors and subcontractors to ensure reliability and responsiveness.

Conduct monthly performance reviews across all active projects to monitor progress, costs, and safety compliance.

Assist in forecasting resource needs and coordinating manpower allocation across concurrent projects.

Represent the company during client meetings, design reviews, and commissioning coordination sessions.

Drive project closeout procedures including final inspections, client turnover, and lessons learned sessions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Demonstrated leadership in managing electrical scopes on large-scale critical infrastructure hyperscale data centers.

Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, UPS systems, and low-voltage controls.

Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and commissioning protocols in high-availability environments.

Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, budgets, and safety in fast-paced, high-stakes projects.

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams including engineering, field supervision, and commissioning agents.

Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at managing client expectations and presenting updates to stakeholders.

Proficiency in scheduling and reporting tools; experience with construction ERP systems is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or similar field; equivalent experience also considered.

10+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects; at least 3 years with mission-critical infrastructure.

PMP or other relevant certifications preferred.

Experience developing project managers and building strong, high-performing teams.

Ability to travel 10–25% based on project requirements.
