Quality Engineer

Motion Dynamics Corporation, a growing and entrepreneurial-driven manufacturer of precision wire components, springs and wire assemblies located in Fruitport, MI seeks a highly motivated Quality Engineer.

Motion Dynamics Corporation manufactures to the highest standards, from quick prototypes to large quantity production for the Medical, Electronics, Aerospace and Military Industries.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment and be a self-starter. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role including experience with the following:

· Data analysis utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC)

· Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) and root cause analysis tools and documentation

· Customer Liaison handling complaints and developing effective solutions

· Experience with Gage R&R, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow documentation as part of component part validation processes (IQ, OQ, PQ)

· Collecting, tracking, and analyzing quality metrics to improve process performance

· Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 13485 requirements

· Effective writing and communication skills

· Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office

o Experience with Minitab and PLEX ERP a plus

o Expertise in metrology a plus

o A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, quality or manufacturing is preferred
