CNC Swiss Operator

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced CNC Set-Up Technician in Trevose, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for an innovative and growing surgical equipment manufacturer.

Responsibilities for the CNC Set-Up Technician include:

The CNC Set-Up Technician is responsible for preparing CNC machines for production by interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, and setting machine parameters

Set up Swiss CNC machines by mounting, aligning, and securing tooling, setting machine parameters (speeds, feeds, etc.), and programming the machine control unit according to the technical drawings

Perform quality checks on machined parts using measuring tools and inspection methods to ensure they meet the required specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or programming issues that may arise during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to the machine or tooling.

Qualifications for the CNC Set-Up Technician include:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with CNC machining (Swiss machines preferred)

Problem Solving capabilities - Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner; Developing alternative solutions.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00 - 4:30pm

Compensation for the CNC Set-Up Technician includes:

Salary Range is $45,000-$80,000, dependent upon experience
