JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement innovation activities improving manufacturing competitiveness.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Innovation & Transformation (MIT) Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Division to improve
Develop and install robot and PLC applications for R&D.
Work with stakeholders to understand current processes and issues
Implement customized robotic and PLC solution to remedy stakeholders highest priority problems
Requirements:
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills
Associates degree in Robotics/Industrial Maintenance Technologies or equivalent.
Professional experience – (3-5 years of experience) at least 3 year of experience including co-ops and internships.
Experience in Robotics, including operation, teaching, maintenance, and safety. Fanuc and UR preferred .
Experience in PLC programming. Toyopuc and Omron preferred .
Proven use of computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) engineering software techniques
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
