Engineering Manager

We are searching for a full time direct hire Engineering Manager in Philipsburg, PA to lead the engineering team, and ensure all projects and budgets are kept on track through completion

You will

- Lead and direct all engineering staff.

- Represent engineering as a member of the senior staff.

-Prioritize all engineering projects.

- Develop an implementation strategy for both long and short term projects so the organization can meet its goals and objectives.

- Be experienced with Powdered Metal manufacturing for the automotive industry as a must

- Be driven to succeed and teach new engineers

- Have thick skin to take on issues that arise during the course of a project

- Be flexible and adaptable to organizational changes and project redirects

- Have experience dealing with international counterparts

You will have

• Ability to work with basic mathematical equations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Ability to utilize various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office software (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK), ERP, and other internal systems.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Engineering degree is a plus, but not required, but experience in the Powder Metal field focused in the automotive industry is required
