Ocean Imports Customer Service

CaroTrans Los Angeles is looking for an organized individual to join our Ocean Import Team.

CaroTrans is a neutral ocean freight consolidator (NVOCC), working in a wholesale market, providing clients with LCL and FCL services (both export and import).

Our company is 45+ years old, with 13 offices, 27 container freight stations and 350 people in USA.

Plus our own network of offices in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

Requirements to candidates:

- an eye for detail

Job responsibilities:

- Import pricing/quoting

- Arranging of LCL and FCL shipments from overseas

- Creating arrival notices for our customers, on time

- Receiving import cargo in USA and coordinating the releases, IPI moves, door deliveries

- Communicating with our warehouses (container freight stations)

- Resolving of various issues to keep the goods moving

- Settling financials with overseas offices/partners
