The Principal Systems Engineer will define, track, and update requirements for our autonomous vehicle platform.
Responsibilities
Develop system design documentation, including functional flow block diagrams and requirement allocation.
Create specifications for an L4 autonomous program.
Lead design discussions across SW, HW, FuSa, and V&V.
Derive product requirements from stakeholders and customers, and cascade across development team (s).
Collaborate with an international team to solve complex problems and handle design activity.
Work closely with engineering teams to champion industry standards: SOTIF, ISO21434, ASPICE, ISO26262, ISO21448. (ISO 26262, ISO 21448).
Requirements
MS/BS within a related field.
Experience in vehicle-level control software development.
5+ years of technical design experience.
Experience specifying requirements.
Model-based systems engineering experience.
Programming experience in C++ and Python.
Background in robotics within loosely bounded operational design domains.
Familiarity with functional safety analysis functions.
Knowledge of multimodal sensor usage.
Broad understanding of engineering fundamentals in software, networking, electrical, and mechanical systems.
