Must Have

Develop and uphold project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for designated projects

Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet established goals and objectives that support the financial and competitive goals of the organization

Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and non-verbal

Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating; managing change; goal setting; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to address difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem solving.

Experience communicating and conducting briefings with senior or executive leadership regarding critical program outcomes

Knowledge of medical device R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory procedures

Lead multifaceted cross-functional teams

Manage and track project budget with components that include resources, prototypes, suppliers, and general expenses to meet established return on investments per project

Nice To Have

Business Acumen: ability to think from an overall “best for the business” perspective

Degree in Engineering and/or scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience

Job Description -

As a Sr Project Manager within the Released Product Management (RPM) division, you will be steering the course to meet business needs while leading cost savings projects in the Advanced Surgical Technologies Business Unit. This pivotal role will see you harmonizing and coordinating various initiatives within the RPM program and managing dependencies across projects. In close collaboration with Released Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional domains, you will drive the delivery of projects to our valued patients and customers.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for Released Product Management (RPM).

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.

Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
